Keeping in mind that the phone is priced at 9K, Yureka still attracts eyeballs with it amazing hardware & software combo. Below are some of the quick specs of the device, take a look at them.

Design & Display

The device is quite light-weight and slim, though it packs a 5.5" Inch screen, it still maintains a good grip and feels quite comfortable in hands. The moonstone finish kinda gives a premium look to the otherwise inexpensive phone, thumbs up to Yu team. Coming to the display, it packs a 5.5" Inch HD IPS LCD Display with 1280x720 resolution and pixel density of ~267ppi. I know many people won't be happy with 720p display but guys c'mon it's a Rs.8,999 phone. Even though the resolution is 720p, it looks great on the 5.5" Inch display. Not to forget, the display comes with corning gorilla glass 3 protection and oleophobic coating. Yureka is a Dual-SIM phone and supports micro-SIM cards.

So you must be wondering what it packs under the hood, Well, you'll be happy to know that it packs a 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor and Adreno 405 GPU. In the Mumbai event, Abhisek from Cyanogenmod confirmed that the device will continue to receive updates for a minimum of 2 years, which really is a great thing for users. Cyanogenmod brings unlimited possibilities to your device, you can change the themes, install mods etc. you have complete freedom over your device, thanks to Cyanogen Inc.
