TCL Launches New Range of Curve, Ultra HD & Full HD TV series and TCL 562 Smartphone in India

TCL, a Chinese multinational electronics company, which is also the world's third-largest TV manufacturer, today announced a new range of Curve, Ultra-HD and Full-HD TV series in India. TCL, in an exclusive partnership with announced the new range of TV's in Indian market at their Bengaluru event on July 28, 2016. Before their official launch, TCL invited us along with other Bloggers to a secret pre-launch meetup in Mumbai where they showcased their new TV range and smartphone which were launched today. 

TCL Curve, Ultra HD & Full HD TV series

TCL 48" Inches P1 Curved Full HD Smart TV


The first one in the P1 series is a 121 cm (48" Inches) Curved Full HD Smart TV, which comes with a beautiful sleek design and lean profile. The design makes the TV looks slimmer and light, with an overall thickness of 69.9 mm and thinnest part of TV is just 12 mm. With over one million pixels and latest generation, TCL's LED backlight technology gives more accurate and detailed visuals. The dramatic enhancement of color gamut and dynamic contrast ratio makes the picture realistic than ever. TCL’s Curved C48 Smart TV contains upgraded functions which include  screen mirroring, built-in-Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, App Store etc. There is a Build In Dolby Digital AC3, and Dolby Prologic II surround sound processor for better audio output. TCL 43" Inches P1 Series Flat 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with Android

This TV is also the part of P1 series and is a bit smaller than the one listed above. This one is a Flat Ultra HD Smart TV with 43" Inches Display which is as good as the bigger 48" Inches version. This one runs Android and gives you access to the app store with lots of amazing apps which provides a range of applications from video-on-demand to social, gaming, and music. TCL D2900 Series : 32" & 40" Inch Full HD TV


This LED TV series contains two TV's; a 40" Inch TV (100 cm) and a 32" Inch TV (81 cm) which according to the company, provides the best picture and sound quality. These TV's come with 2 USB ports and HDMI ports for better connectivity and superior audio output. The TV's come with Dolby surround sound with integrated speakers which according to TCL, guarantee high-quality audio output with the Dolby decoder. The Smart-volume feature eliminates unwanted spikes in audio, to you give a richer and more captivating audio experience. Additionally, various picture and audio mode options heighten your visual experience and let you enjoy the intensity of sports and action programs. TCL Smartphone series

TCL 562 Smartphone


Along with the TV's, TCL launched their second smartphone after TCL 560, this smartphone which is named TCL 562, packs a 5.5" Inch IPS Full HD Display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, it packs Helio P10 MT6755M Chipset which is an Octa-Core chip containing a Quad-Core 1.8 GHz processor & a Quad-Core 1.0 GHz processor along with Mali T860 GPU. The phone looks great, weighs 150 grams and measures 7.99 mm in thickness. The memory department boasts a 3GB RAM and 32 GB Internal storage. The camera at the back is a 13 Megapixel with Dual-Tone LED Flash, Autofocus with 0.3 fast Ultra focus technology. The front shooter is a 5 Megapixel camera with wide angle lens. and front flash. TCL 562 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and packs 2960 mAh battery which is non-removable. There is a fingerprint sensor fitted inside the Home button and for connectivity you get 4G LTE Cat4, 3G, 2G, GPS with A-GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2. TCL 560 Smartphone

Recently (On July 4, 2016) TCL launched their first smartphone in the Indian market, which was TCL 560. The TCL 560 packed somewhat similar hardware specs as the 562. It came with 5.5" Inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset MSM8909, which was a Quad-Core 1.1 GHz processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It came with 2GB RAM, 16 GB Storage and microSD card support up to 32 GB. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, It packed an 8 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP front camera. TCL 560 was priced at Rs.7999 and is available via in India.

Looking at the specs of both the devices, we can say that TCL 562 is better in terms of specifications than TCL 560.
